"If you host a tailgate on your rival's home turf, you'd better win!"

The Patriots Lax Boosters were joined by Portsmouth Youth Lacrosse to host a parking lot tailgate during the much anticipated annual away game versus island rival Middletown on Wednesday, May 8.
The PYL 1/2 team also did battle against their Middletown counterparts at the halftime break and some PYL girls teams even cancelled their practices to come support the boys varsity squad in hopes of helping their town's team continue in their quest for an undefeated season.
The final result didn't disappoint. Portsmouth was up 8-1 at the half in what was a dominating performance out of the gate. The final scoreboard glowed 13-6 and evidenced a strong win by the Patriots as the sun set on an evening of lacrosse that will be long remembered as a high point of the season for PHS lax players, friends and fams.
